What is a "recovery coach"?
A recovery coach is a seasoned treatment professional who functions as a guide to those newly sober or to those returning after a relapse.
The goal of a recovery coach is to meet with the client either once a week or several times per week to work on a variety of sobriety-related issues.
As your recovery coach, I'll help you build the tools you need to stay sober.
Overcome Obstacles
Identify areas which have presented roadblocks to recovery in the past or may present roadblocks to continued abstinence in the future. As a recovery coach, my goal is to identify obstacles you need to overcome and help you build a strong defense against relapse.
Continued Support
As your recovery coach, I'll support you through the maze of challenges which can arise from everyday activities. Whether you need one-on-one sessions each week or need me to help you via telephone contact, as your recovery coach, I'm here to support you.
Transitional Coaching
Recovery coaches work with clients at any stage of recovery. If you are in the process of transitioning from a sober living/treatment to your home, I can provide coaching and positive support. If you recently relapsed, I'm your support system on the road back to sobriety.
Helping Hand
A good recovery coach will help facilitate the steps necessary to remain free from drugs and alcohol. Staying sober isn't an easy process. It takes tools and a helping hand. I'll help you work through other process addictions and behaviors that keep you from achieving the sobriety you desire.

My name is William J. (Bill) McCabe. I've been a Nationally Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor since 1996.
For over 25 years, I've worked in the field of addictions providing interventions and consulting services to those affected by the disease of chemical dependency. My focus is helping families & individuals recover from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol addiction.
